Ron Hernandez will tell you he is living a dream - working with art and people that he loves. Inspired by a pinstriper as a teen, he honed his skills in the days of classic striping legends. Now after 30 years in the field, Hernandez leads a generation of stripers that move this art form to a new level with color, murals, and hand pulled detail that blends old school technique with cutting edge style. His passion is to introduce a new generation to an art that has a lasting history, but has moved from the shadows into the spotlight of originality and widely recognized form. Working in a relaxed setting, Hernandez sees the car as a canvas and does not shy away from innovation, breaking barriers with use of color and artwork. He believes that life, like pinstriping, “Requires focus from start to finish. If you veer off, it’s going to show. If you execute correctly in the beginning, it’s done right at the end.”
